Lonnie Sims lives with a burning desire for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. In 1980 at the age of 16 he met Christ in an evangelistic meeting and shortly thereafter was baptized in the Holy Spirit and the journey began. While in Bible School he met his wife, Rebecca, and eventually joined her parents in full time ministry. In this training ground the foundation was laid for now almost 30 years of ministry both, locally and overseas. The ministry has included pastoring and evangelism and in October of 2009, Lonnie Sims Evangelistic Association became a registered charity. In the past two years LSEA has partnered with Kelvin Funkner of Northeast Christian Recording and produced a video on Evangelism. 

 

Having encountered the Holy Spirit in a strong way early in his ministry, it has led to the words of Jesus in Mark 16:15, “Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature...and these signs shall follow them that believe.” Many lives have been touched by the power of the Holy Spirit and today this strong commitment to the great commission continues to burn.
